You might think it is just one of those things but it may have something to do with the way that it has been made. Natural daylight is good for you so windows should be large enough and not set too high or places will feel dingy and dull. Air should circulate well, so that rooms don’t feel stale. Too much clutter can be a safety hazard but also confuses the eye and makes it more difficult to relax. Feeling safe in a building is about more than just walls, gates, doors and locks, although they are important too. Hidden corners, narrow passages, and places that are not overlooked can all make you feel unsafe and insecure. If there are places you don’t like to go when you are by yourself, there is probably a problem in the design. |
